What Your Ticket Will Do
A Dwelling Place, Inc. was founded by foster and adoptive parents who know firsthand what families in crisis are missing: not just necessities, but real, lasting support.
​
When a family is referred to us through DCS caseworkers, we show up — with beds, diapers, car seats, and furniture that are often legal requirements for keeping children in the home. But we don't just drop things off and leave. We stay. We build relationships. We walk alongside moms through job challenges, parenting struggles, and whatever else life brings.

This is how we help families stop moving and start growing — and how we keep kids out of the foster care system altogether.
Your ticket supports not just immediate needs, but lasting community and hope. One hundred percent volunteer-run means nearly every dollar goes towards helping a family in need.
Can't Attend?
There are other ways to make an impact! Sponsors receive recognition on event signage, our website, and in event materials. Every level of support goes directly toward serving families in Marion and Hamilton Counties.

About A Dwelling Place, Inc.

Founded in March 2022 by Emily Williams and Dawn Dunkman — themselves foster and adoptive parents — A Dwelling Place exists because a bed alone doesn't change a life. We partner with DCS caseworkers to reach families at their most vulnerable, provide what they need to keep children safely at home, and then stay to build the kind of community most of us take for granted.
